As a child my family valued travel; there were camping trips to Florida with my parents and multi generational, cross country explorations with my aunt and grandparents. As a parent I have seen how our love of travel, especially to Japan, changed our children’s lives forever. Seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about their culture and making connections is a passion for me. My husband and I traveled the country full time in our RV having adventures and creating memories in 29 states over three years before settling in the Orlando, Florida area for a while. I am an experienced and passionate visitor and Annual Passholder at both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resorts. If it’s happening at the parks we can be there to see it. I love being at Epcot on the opening day of a new festival; seeing the new displays, getting new PhotoPass images, tasting the new foods and drinks, checking out the new merchandise and of course, riding our favorite rides.
After retiring from teaching at the elementary level I decided I wanted to help other families create treasured memories through travel. A well planned trip requires thorough research, detailed planning and great organization. Traveling families need to know what to expect and how to handle the unexpected. More than 30 years working with young children has helped me to understand the importance of planning and the ability to be flexible when needs change. As your travel advisor I will prepare you to make the most of your trip and be available to support you if the need arises.
To add to my personal knowledge of Disney I have completed the College of Disney Knowledge Certification courses that include Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani Resort in Hawaii and Adventures by Disney. I have earned the Specialist Certification for Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood Resorts. The Master of Adventure Certification earned from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines assures you that I can plan the perfect cruise for you and your family.
