Who is Whimsical Wishes?
Whimsical Wishes Travel Concierge is a small, women-owned travel agency based in New Jersey, proud to be EarMarked by Disney and a Universal Preferred Travel Agency.

We built this agency because we wanted to do things differently. Not bigger — better. We’ve done this job ourselves. We know what it feels like to be new, to have questions at inconvenient hours, to wonder if you made the right call. We built Whimsical Wishes to be the place we wished existed when we were starting out.

Our team is small by design. Every advisor here is known — not as a number or a sales figure, but as a person. We know your goals, your family, your strengths, and the things you’re still working on. We invest in you because we believe your success and ours are the same thing.
We don’t see the advisors who join this team as transactions. We see them as long-term investments. That belief shapes everything about how we show up for our team, every single day.

Your business infrastructure is ready to go. You’ll have a Whimsical Wishes email address, your own page on our website, and access to our systems — everything you need to show up professionally from the very first client conversation.
You’ll have real industry access. Through our affiliation with Travel Leaders Network, one of the largest travel agency networks in the world, you’ll have access to training, tools, and lead-generation resources that would take years to build independently.

You’ll also be able to qualify for your own CLIA card — a credential that opens doors with cruise lines and signals your professionalism to clients.

What we’re looking for
We want to be straightforward with you about what this role requires, because the right fit matters — for you as much as for us.

You must be a US citizen, at least 21 years of age, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You’ll need a computer, a reliable internet connection, and a smartphone. An active, consistent presence on social media is an important part of building your business and your visibility.

Because we specialize in Disney Destinations, we require that candidates have planned and taken at least three Walt Disney World vacations within the last five years, with all stays on-site. Experience with Disney Cruise Line or Royal Caribbean within the last three years is preferred, as is at least one visit to Universal Orlando Resort.

This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor position. There is no salary, no guaranteed income, and no shortcuts. What there is, is real earning potential for someone willing to do the work consistently over time. We want you to come into this with clear eyes and full commitment — that combination is what success here is built on.

Actually, there's no such thing! We are all travel advisors that specialize in Disney Destinations. To become one, most people join a host agency that provides the credentials, supplier relationships, and support you need to start booking — no degree or prior experience required.
At Whimsical Wishes, you apply, complete our Runway to Ready onboarding over your first 90 days, and begin planning trips with our team, tools, and Disney expertise behind you. What you bring is a genuine love of Disney and a heart for helping families; we provide the structure to turn it into a real business.
How much do travel advisors make?
Travel advisor income varies widely because it’s commission-based and grows with your client base. Most advisors spend their first year building their reputation and repeat clients rather than replacing a full-time salary, and earnings grow from there as families return year after year. We’re honest about this: the advisors who treat it like the business it is are the ones whose income comes to reflect it.
What makes Whimsical Wishes different from other host agencies?
We see our advisors as an investment, not a transaction. We’re small by design, so you’re known by name and by the business you’re building — never lost in a sea of advisors. Do I need experience to become a travel advisor?
No, you don’t need formal travel-industry experience to become a travel advisor with Whimsical Wishes. What matters far more is a genuine love of travel, a service-minded heart, and a willingness to learn. If you’ve been the person friends and family call for Disney advice, you already have the instincts — we provide the training and structure to turn them into a business.
What is a host agency, and do I need one?
A host agency gives independent travel advisors the credentials, supplier relationships, technology, and support to run a travel business without building all of it from scratch — and for most new advisors, yes, joining one is the practical way to start.
Instead of securing your own accreditations and supplier contracts, you work under the host’s umbrella and keep a share of the commissions. Whimsical Wishes is a host agency built to be small, personal, and genuinely supportive.
What does it cost to join Whimsical Wishes, and what does it cover?
There is a quarterly fee for Whimsical Wishes advisors that covers the cost of the CRM and G-Suite, our primary agency systems. You also get your own page on our website and your business cards. More than the tools, it’s your first act as a business owner and a signal of your continued commitment.
How do I know if I’m ready to apply?
