Kayla was lucky to spend a couple days at Universal Hollywood earlier this month, check out her experience at Super Nintendo World!
This was my family's first visit to Universal Studios Hollywood, and we loved it! The park is compact and easy to navigate; we loved exploring everything new and different from what we're used to at Universal Orlando, especially...
Super Nintendo World was the "main attraction" for our family and it did not disappoint! Located on the lower lot of Universal Studios Hollywood, this area is superbly themed with bright colors, a brand new attraction, interactive entertainment and many of your favorite characters.
We took advantage of early access to the land (a perk any Whimsical Wishes advisor can hook you up with!) so we were able to get in an hour before the general public. It was the best hour of our whole day!
We had purchased and linked "Power Up Bands" so we arrived ready to play! We collected digital coins and collected digital keys that unlocked the final Shadow Showdown with Bowser Jr.!
After defeating Bowser Jr., we rode Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge for the first time. I don't want to give away too many details but this attraction is unlike anything you've ever ridden before!
And we did all that... within the first hour! Early access was the best thing we did our whole vacation; we were able to explore at our own pace, without long lines, and appreciate all the little details.
No visit to Super Nintendo World is complete without a stop at Toadstool Cafe! We loved watching the Toads prepare our food, they share their story all throughout your dining experience.
The food was AMAZING, too! I loved my Luigi Burger, which was actually a chicken sandwich, with the yummiest crinkle fries. We shared Toad's Garlic Knots and those were soft and flavorful treat. The star of the show was dessert, we loved Peach's Cupcake!
We spent hours taking in everything that Super Nintendo World had to offer. It was a highlight of our week-long California vacation, and absolutely worth the trip to the West Coast.
We can't wait to get back to Universal Studios Hollywood!
